CONTROLS ARE FINE!!!

Disregard that other review as they do not realize it is a one finger game not a two finger game. Press once you go left press again you go right. Once you get the hang of it the boat feels amazing to travel in ...and the controls are perfect as you will want to snake your way through some rocks using very fast tapping. I have all the ketchapp games and this one is my favourite. A little trick is to look into the distance (like your driving a car) do not concentrate solely on the rock right in front of you...this helps me to sail longer distances.
